Well, I downloaded the beta from Apple's Developer Center. The only thing I've done with it so far is to test the JavaScript performance. Using SunSpider and a couple of other benchmarks, comparing the results with Firefox 3RC2 and Opera 9.2, Safari 4 seems to be about 40% faster than Firefox and about 700% faster than Opera on the same hardware. Opera's hard to tell for certain, as that version craps out on half a dozen tests entirely. I thought I'd simply confirm the JS performance improvements as I've seen them so far...
